Helping Advanced Servers Incorporate the Desired Shoulder Rotation into their Serves


This is usually one of the last elements that I try to incoorporate into my players' serves. As the players move from a basic motion to using the correct grip to a fluid coordination between the lower and upper body, I like to introduce a stronger sholder rotation. This will allow them to manage their different serves better but it could generate coordination problems if introduced too early. Here is a nice drill to help the players understand how to get their upper body into an ideal position.
